The purpose of the study was to find the various adaptation types of non-old aged female-headed households after marital dissolution through using 31 cases of experiencing marital dissolution during 1st-10th waves of the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS) dataset. The main types of results were as follows: The first type is the ¡®assets type¡¯ who maintains a relative good standard of living based on their rich assets. The second type is the ¡®earned income type¡¯ who both the female heads and her adult children need to work in order to maintain their family budget. The third type is ¡®informal support type¡¯ that supports them by private aid. The fourth group is ¡®remarriage type¡¯ that regains their financial stability by remarriage-by acquiring a male-bread winner. The last group, ¡®exclusion type¡¯ is those who cannot escape from poverty because of their poor assets, weak support system (both formal and informal), and inferior employment position.
